Cruisin’ theRiver City
Classic and custom cars line Main Street along the Escatawpa for a free day of chrome, music, and the whole River City out together. Moss Point’s own stop on Cruisin’ the Coast.
What it is
The Coast’s biggest car week, the River City way.
Every October, downtown Moss Point becomes a host city for Cruisin’ the Coast, the largest classic car event on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Cars roll up Main Street to the riverfront, from vintage classics off the 1950s line to custom hot rods you will not see anywhere else, and the whole downtown turns out to walk the show.
As the City puts it, here in Moss Point we do it our way: riverside, relaxed, and rooted in community.

Moss Point’s day on the Coast.
Cruisin’ the Coast has drawn classic car lovers to the Mississippi Gulf Coast every October since 1996. Moss Point joined the party in 2023, and Cruisin’ the River City quickly became a favorite stop, the one where the cars park a few steps from the water and downtown feels like a block party.
Cruisers register through Cruisin’ the Coast and drive their cars all week. For spectators, Moss Point’s day is simple: show up, walk the row, and enjoy the River City.
